Pole buildings, also called post-frame buildings, are one of the most practical and cost-effective structures you can build on North Idaho property. HOW A POLE BUILDING IS CONSTRUCTED

Unlike traditional stick-frame construction, which starts with a continuous perimeter foundation, a pole building is built on large vertical posts (typically 6x6 or larger treated lumber, or steel columns) set at regular intervals around the perimeter and interior of the structure.

These posts carry the entire structural load, including roof, walls, and any snow or wind loads, directly to the ground. Horizontal girts span between the posts to support the wall cladding, and trusses span the full width of the building to support the roof.
